Rachel Chand believes childbirth is a miracle created by God and is here to walk you through the journey of this beautiful day of welcoming your new addition into this world. Rachel is a certificated childbirth educator and doula with Childbirth International. She is originally from the USA and has resided in Penang since 2013 along with her husband and 4 children. Before moving to Penang Rachel lived in India for over 17 years where she assisted and helped to educate women throughout their pregnancies and childbirth experience. Rachel is inspired to coach and work along side you and your partner throughout your pregnancy to educate you to make informed decisions. Rachel will work along side you to acheive a unique birthing experience while being sensitive to your hopes, anxieties and spiritual needs. Rachel has an calm empathic demeanor and an optimistic personality that helps to contribute to a peaceful and nurturing environment. Rachel desires to understand you and your partner throughout the entire prenatal to post natal period. Standing with you and your doctor to find the navigate your birth and no matter what is thrown at you in pregnancy, labor or post partum there is a way to remain comfortable and in control.
